A Registered Bio-Energetics Practitioner (R. BIE) has received accreditation from the Institute of Natural Health Technologies (INHT) to practice a a natural new approach called Bio-Energetics (BIE). All practitioners of BIE have received prior training and education in the health and wellness field, such as Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Doctors, Nutritionists and Nurses.
BIE is a natural modality that uses a state-of-the-art instrument to direct energy onto various acupuncture points on the body to help create a homeostatic state, thereby alleviating suffering. When your body is in a state of imbalance, illness, allergies and symptoms can occur. Once back in a state of homeostasis, your body can naturally alleviate itself from all allergic symptoms.
Communication within the body is essential for homeostasis. The word “homeostasis” describes the body’s ability to maintain a dynamic state of equilibrium or balance in which the internal conditions change and vary, but always within relatively narrow limits in order to be free of any adverse reactions. In general, the body is in homeostasis when its needs are being adequately met and is functioning smoothly.
By promoting one’s own ability to achieve homeostasis without the use of needles or drugs, BIE has been found to be an incredibly effective and painless way to help alleviate many symptoms.
The more exposure we have to given energies, from foods, electromagnetic fields such as radiations, negative thought processes, pollens, danders, chemicals, etc., the more these discordant energies will lead to homeostatic imbalance. These discordant energies are referred to as stressors.
Bioenergetic pathways allow energetic signals to flow continuously through and around the body. It is through these bioenergetic meridians that the brain and nervous system receive information about the state and functioning of the body as a whole. Modern electro magnetic imaging technology has confirmed the presence of these pathways. When blockages occur within these pathways, the body is unable to recognize various food or environmental substances and an adverse reaction can occur.
A low-level electric frequency is transmitted onto several acupuncture points (without the use of needles) across the body using a state-of-the-art device (GSR-120). The impulse generated will travel through different meridian channels in the body and work to clear any energy blockages while simultaneously introducing the cells to the stressor’s frequency (as opposed to exposing the body to the actual substance). BIE directs energy at specific points on the body to help the body achieve homeostasis, therefore alleviating suffering.
An intolerance refers to a non-immune system response ranging from a minor irritation to an extreme reaction. The substance in which our body reacts to, which is generally non-threatening, is viewed by our body as a threat to our general well being.
A Medical Allergist’s definition of allergy: “a reaction to an otherwise harmless substance, food or environmental, that results in an immune system response”. This reaction consists of the release of histamine, leading to an inflammatory reaction.
A Registered Bio-Energetics Practitioner defines a Stressor as: ”a bioenergetic counteraction to a given substance which results in a reaction within the body”
When the body has been freed of any stressors to which it has been exposed to in the past, any damaged tissues will begin to break down and reabsorb back into the body. The odd headache, sore throat, sinus congestion, tired or lethargic feeling, aches and pains or even nausea are all usually signs of the body regenerating new cells and cleansing itself. This is known as a “healing crisis”.
A healing crisis can start the day after the session up to 3 weeks in some cases, and may last from 1 to 28 days. For this reason, many are surprised when the stressors they have been cleared of are still causing problems. In fact, they may appear to be getting sick. This is actually a good sign, not a bad one. The body is merely re-experiencing the same symptoms, temporarily, as it now returns on the uphill road, throwing off and eliminating toxic wastes.
It usually requires 1 to 4 sessions to achieve homeostasis to a given stressor. In most cases, homeostasis can be achieved after the first visit. However, depending on the stress level of the client, amount of bodily toxins, level of hydration and the strength of the person’s immune system, the other stressors may require a second, third or, rarely even a forth session.
Once homeostasis is achieved, there is usually no need for subsequent or yearly visits for the same substance.
Stressors are determined using muscle testing, also referred to as Biofeedback Analysis or Applied Kinesiology. This is a highly effective health screening procedure used to obtain information from the body to determine what is needed in order to heal itself. A particular muscle is isolated and exposed to a specific substance’s energetic properties to determine either a positive or negative response. A weakness in the indicator muscle reveals a disruption in the energy flow and therefore the presence of a stressor. An increase of strength in the indicator muscle confirms the body’s ability to process the substance being tested. Needles are not required.
